A powerful and courageous talk by a grieving mother and resilience researcher Lucy Hone, who explains how one can grieve and live life at the same time. She reminds us that suffering is part of life for all of us and learning to cope with this is paramount to survival and indeed human flourishing.
She offers three interesting strategies for resilience in all aspects of life, which I found incredibly simple yet powerful. I have on countless occasions now implemented her simple question “Is what I’m doing or thinking now helping or harming me?”
Very much of its time, as we are all challenged in so many ways to “bounce back” from incredibly challenging times and learn to live with Covid-19.
